Cellulite is fat deposit below the skin which gives it a dimpled appearance. The skin may look like orange peel. This problem is more prevalent among women because men have a thicker skin which does not easily show these deposits outwardly. Usually, it is more visible on hips, buttocks and thighs. Women go for its removal for cosmetic reasons.
There are many treatment options for cellulite removal. They include using of creams, using body wraps, using physical and mechanical methods like ultrasound, heat or pneumatic massaging to remove these fat deposits, injecting chemicals for fat removal, surgical methods like liposuction etc. One of the other methods for cellulite treatment is considered to be regular physical exercise.
One of the best methods of cellulite treatment is to have regular exercise which works on the areas affected by cellulite. By doing these exercises regularly, these areas get toned. Buttocks and thighs are more prone to have cellulite. Therefore, toning exercise of these areas is a very important component of cellulite treatment and removal. Best exercise for toning of these areas is to have leg curls and squats with light weights.
Also, aerobic and cardiovascular exercises are to be included in the regular exercise routine. These types of exercise increase blood flow and its circulation in the body. Because of increased blood flow and circulation, slowly cellulites start getting removed and more muscles developed to replace the unwanted fat cells.
Actually, when you are exercising for removal of Cellulite, you are not only removing them but getting fitter and healthier every day. But only doing regular exercise may not be effective cellulite treatment. Other part of the treatment will be losing weight by taking healthy diet with reduced calorie intake. This will gradually reduce your body weight as well as extra body fat.
There are other factors which cause cellulite formation which may not be controlled by only doing regular exercise. They may be:
1. Effect of hormones : Since mostly women are affected by cellulite, it has been found that hormone Estrogen has a role in formation of cellulite
2. Genetic Factors: It has been found that some genetic factors like Sex, race etc. play a role in the development of cellulite.
3. Lifestyle: Some factors in the lifestyle like smoking, lack of exercise, eating fatty foods or sitting in one place for long time may aggravate formation of cellulite.
Therefore, we may consider regular exercise as one of the components of cellulite treatment. But, other factors as mentioned above also have to be considered for effective cellulite treatment for each person.
One Response for "Only regular exercise is not effective cellulite treatment"
Hi,
I used to have pretty bad cellulite which only got worse after I get pregnant. I had it mostly around my inner thighs and bottom and a bit on my tummy as well. I tried eating more healthy food and did a lot of exercise as well which friends and family members recommended but my skin was still lumpy and floppy. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed to have got rid of her cellulite by using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked pretty well. It took a couple of weeks but my skin had improved a lot and I managed to get rid of my cellulite completely. You can read more about the lady’s article at the link below:
